Helping patients and caregivers share their voices

We love referrals. But read the invite carefully!

January 26, 2020 Wes Michael

We found a long time ago, patients (and caregivers) know other patients and caregivers. Many of our Rare Patient Voice members came from referrals from others. So, we love referrals!

Many times when you are invited to a study, we are eager to find others like you, so we’ll ask if you know others who might be interested in the same study. But read the invite carefully! Usually you can’t just forward the same email to someone else. You need to let your project manager know and he or she can give you some links for you to share. This is very important. If you just share your email and link, they won’t be able to use them. Each link is different, the same one can’t be used more than once. So read the study invites carefully, and when it asks for referrals, please take advantage! Often, you’ll get a bonus of $50 for referring someone who qualifies and completes the study. In addition to the reward you’ll get for taking part.

We love referrals, but read the instructions on the invite carefully!
