Rare Patient Voice, LLC was founded in 2013 by research industry veteran Wes Michael with a mission to connect patients and caregivers with opportunities to share their opinions with the researchers and companies developing products, treatments, and services to improve lives. RPV is unique in its approach, having been built on a foundation of direct connections and word of mouth. We have assembled a panel of over 125,000 patients and family caregivers as a result of attending in-person awareness events, meetings, and conferences, and by working with patient advocacy groups through a robust referral program. We cover more than 1,500 different conditions, both rare and non-rare, and now span the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Australia, and New Zealand.
We work with partners throughout the world who help us to find hard-to-reach patients and caregivers to take part in all types of research including market research, health economics outcomes and real-world evidence, user experience/human factors studies, and clinical trials. We know that our patients’ and caregivers’ time is valuable and to date, we have paid them over $13 million dollars for their participation. We work with patients, caregivers, clients, industry partners, and patient advocacy groups to help change healthcare - one Rare Patient Voice at a time!
