It’s clear that the patient voice is essential to progress in research, but engaging patients for participation in clinical trials can be surprisingly challenging. This is particularly true in rare diseases, where the numbers can be small and patients hard to find. In 2021, Rare Patient Voice and Informa Pharma Intelligence surveyed 900 patients on their perceptions regarding clinical trial participation.
