Little Arlo was born with trisomy 21, which accounts for 95% of all known cases of Down syndrome, a genetic disorder caused when abnormal cell division results in extra genetic material from chromosome 21. But as Carlie shares in the video linked to below, her family is navigating life as any family does, and Arlo is proof that different isn’t less, it’s just different.
