“Hi. My name is Zach McCall (he/him) aka Ty’s Chronic Adventures! I am a transgender 20 year-old from St. Louis, Missouri. I have a rare neurological condition known as Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). It is an extremely painful autoimmune disease that spreads throughout the body. I developed this condition from a field hockey accident in which I was hit in the hand with a club. I went on to have surgery on my radial nerve and to remove excessive scar tissue, and went through the Graded Motor Imagery (GMI) Program in occupational therapy. Today, I raise awareness on social media platforms and educate others on what it’s like to live with this condition every day.”
