“In July 2004 I woke up in severe body pain. It seemed like it came from nowhere. My father took me to the ER. I couldn’t walk. They said I had an autoimmune but were not sure which autoimmune. That’s when my research began. I called an ER doctor I know. He told me it sounds like Polymyositis! A couple months later an infectious disease doctor confirmed that diagnosis. A couple years later Lupus joined my Polymyositis.”
