We love our patients! When you complete an interview or survey, we want to make sure you are paid. We are proud that we’ve paid over 4.1 million dollars to patients for taking part in our studies. As you may know, we pay by check. From time to time, someone doesn’t get their check. Please let us know when this happens. We use the most recent street address you’ve provided, sometimes people don’t give us the apartment number, so the Post Office won’t deliver the check. So, make sure you provide the complete address. Sometimes the checks get torn in the mail – just let us know and we’ll send a replacement.
Sometimes people haven’t received a check and when they contact us, they don’t have any information about the project. We can often figure it out, but what speeds up the process is when you can provide the project number. It is on every email we send you about a project. Sometimes people say they have deleted all the emails. Can I ask a favor? Please keep our emails until you’ve been paid. That way, you’ll have the emails with the details, especially the project number. After that, feel free to delete them!
Remember, we want to pay you. In fact, if you don’t cash the check, or don’t get it, it doesn’t save us any money. We pay our check processing company for each check we send whether it is cashed or not, so please don’t let it go to waste. Let us know if you don’t get it. You’ve earned it!
