For the Second Time, Rare Patient Voice Ranks on the Inc. 5000, Ranking #3981 With Three-Year Revenue Growth of 122%
Inc. Magazine Reveals Annual List of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies
Towson, MD, August 19, 2022 – Inc. magazine revealed this week that Rare Patient Voice LLC is No. 3981 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents a one-of-a-kind look at the most successful companies within the economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent businesses. Facebook, Chobani, Under Armour, Microsoft, Patagonia, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.
“Our mission at Rare Patient Voice is to help patients and caregivers share their opinions and experiences with researchers and companies working on life-changing innovations. When I launched RPV in 2013, I had no idea the reception this simple idea would receive,” said Wes Michael, president and founder of Rare Patient Voice. “Since then, we’ve grown to a community of over 100,000 across more than 700 rare and non-rare diseases, and expanded to nine countries and counting. This is our second year being recognized by Inc., and this honor reinforces the fact that the patient voice is being requested and heard by researchers and pharma companies, which is truly gratifying.”
The companies on the 2022 Inc. 5000 have not only been successful, but have also demonstrated resilience amid supply chain woes, labor shortages, and the ongoing impact of Covid-19. Among the top 500, the average median three-year revenue growth rate soared to 2,144 percent. Together, those companies added more than 68,394 jobs over the past three years.
Complete results of the Inc. 5000, including company profiles and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, region, and other criteria, can be found at www.inc.com/inc5000. The top 500 companies are featured in the September issue of Inc. magazine, which will be available on August 23.
“The accomplishment of building one of the fastest-growing companies in the U.S., in light of recent economic roadblocks, cannot be overstated,” says Scott Omelianuk, editor-in-chief of Inc. “Inc. is thrilled to honor the companies that have established themselves through innovation, hard work, and rising to the challenges of today.”
Not only have the companies on the 2022 Inc. 5000 been very competitive within their markets, but this year’s list also proved especially resilient and flexible given 2020’s unprecedented challenges. Among the 5,000, the average median three-year growth rate soared to 543 percent, and median revenue reached $11.1 million. Together, those companies added more than 610,000 jobs over the past three years.
Founded in 2013, Rare Patient Voice is the leading recruitment firm connecting patients and caregivers with paid opportunities to make their voices heard through all types of research.
