I’m sure a key element in your success has been how you have built interpersonal relationships. Interacting with others, delivering good news as well as explaining and apologizing when things haven’t gone well. Gaining credibility over the long term. How you say something can be as important as what you say.
That has been the not-so-secret key to our success with patients as well. We meet patients in person at patient events (conferences, walks, educational forums, etc.) where we recruit them. We get to know them and they get to know us. And our relationship grows as we invite them to surveys, pay them rapidly, respond to any questions they may have, share disease-related information, and resend any checks that have been lost in the mail (surprising, but that happens from time to time). As they grow to trust us, they spread the word about Rare Patient Voice. They tell others in their support groups, advocacy chapters, or closed Facebook pages, and our panels grow. With authentic patients. So that when you need authentic rare patients, we can provide them, usually within two weeks for both qualitative and quantitative research.
We will be building patient relationships at many patient events in the upcoming weeks, for Crohn’s, Sjogren’s Syndrome, Hemophilia, Pulmonary Fibrosis, Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension, Cystic Fibrosis, Sickle Cell, and HIV.
Let us know what patients or caregivers you need for market research or HEOR studies. If we don’t have them, we’ll work to build a panel.
