Born and raised in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, where she is currently based, Zina joined Rare Patient Voice after completing both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work. She has professional experience working with leading humanitarian organizations, including Heart for Children with Cancer and Pomozi.ba, where she supported individuals with a range of medical conditions.
Having been diagnosed with a rare disease at a young age herself, Zina’s personal experience strongly shaped her professional path and passion for patient advocacy. Her work at Rare Patient Voice reflects her commitment to ensuring that patient voices are heard, valued, and represented.
- Hobbies: playing volleyball, traveling, watching movies and TV series, and spending time with friends.
