Mekenzie, who hails from Florence, Alabama, joined Rare Patient Voice in 2023 as a member of the Patient Advocacy Team. Her educational background includes a BS in Applied Health Science from the University of North Alabama. Working in healthcare has always been her passion; after being diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in college, Mekenzie was even further motivated to make a difference in the lives of others.
