Hi. Wes here with another segment of You Ask, We Answer. How does our pricing work? Usually the first question we get asked, after we answer about our feasibility for a particular disease or health condition is: “What are the costs”?
We charge everyone our standard prices. We even publish them on our website. You can go to rarepatientvoice.com. Look at the tab that says: “For Researchers” and within that there's a tab “Pricing”. The pricing does not change depending on the incidence rates. Each project has four components to the pricing. Set Up, which is our minimum fee. Recruiting. Honoraria. And Incentive Processing.
For Online Quant surveys, the pricing is: Setup is $500. The recruiting is $40 per complete. The honoraria is based on a $100 per hour. So, for 30 minutes online study would be $50. And the incentive processing is $5 each. For projects with greater than 200 sample size, the recruiting cost goes down as the volume goes up.
For qualitative studies, like phone or web interviews, the costs are: Recruiting is $200 per complete. The honorary is also based on a $100 per hour. So for a 60-minute phone interview, for example, it would be $100. And the incentive processing is $10.
One of two different setup fees applies to Qualitative. If we fully screen and schedule the respondents, we program your screener, so that setup we call “Standard” and that’s $1,250.
If we do a “Handover” where we ask two to three key screening questions, and then passover contacts for you to fully screen and schedule, the setup is $250. A savings of a $1,000, since we don't have to fully program your screener and scheduling tool.
There are a few exceptions. If the Qual interviews are in person, for the Standard Approach, the recruiting of $300 and the honoraria is a $150 per hour. And if it's a very short Online Quant study, even only five minutes, the minimum honoraria is $20. We need to honor patients for their time.
As always send us your proposal request for feasibility and pricing. Thanks.
